POSITION SUMMARY: 

The RSS Education Coordinator facilitates educational services to refugees and other eligible immigrants through the Refugee Support Services (RSS) program. This includes instruction and administration for Tech Literacy and Driver’s Education, as well as coordinating ESL placement for RSS enrollees. The RSS Education Coordinator will also assist with case management and employment services as client need requires.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Administrative Coordinator provides critical administrative assistance to WR Durham’s Resettlement Team to facilitate efficient execution of program services. Through the implementation and improvement of internal systems, internal monitoring and database management, the Administrative Coordinator helps the Resettlement Team maximize the quality and efficiency of client services.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Resettlement Coordinator (Intake, Assessment and Referral) will provide early assistance to eligible Humanitarian Parolees through Preferred Community’s Intake, Assessment and Referral (IAR) program. Through IAR services, the Coordinator will assess the needs of eligible immigrants, assist clients in accessing available benefits and resources and make referrals to external partners or additional programming as client need requires. IAR services will last no more than 90 days for each individual client.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

World Relief seeks a Volunteer Coordinator to serve local churches and volunteers in Durham, NC through volunteer coordination. This individual works to empower the local church and community to serve refugees and other immigrants in the Triangle alongside World Relief.

Internships are currently available in Refugee Resettlement, Refugee Health and Wellness, and Immigration Legal Services. In Sumer and Fall 2023, internships will be available in Refugee Resettlement, Refugee Health and Wellness, Immigration Legal Services, Refugee and Immigrant Youth Services, and Community Engagement. Interns support the work of World Relief Durham and gain hands-on experience with case management support, communication, and transporting program participants.
