Sacramento’s Tour de World Relief in News
Fox 40 News reached out to hear more about our Tour de World Relief event held at the Sacramento office on June 1st.
Tour de World Relief was an event to gather riders, participants and supporters of our annual Pedal to Resettle event on June 17th. The focus is to use the next two weeks to spread the word about our annual cycling fundraiser. This inaugural Tour de World Relief event also included a tour of our new office on Watt Avenue, an international potluck and a time to share impact Refugee stories.

Christian refugees from Pakistan reunite in Spokane after nearly seven years apart

Here’s how Memphis has Helped Ukraine in the Past Year
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One year ago from Saturday, the world woke to news that Russian missiles were hitting Ukraine’s capital city. In many ways, the world changed.
It soon became obvious Russia spectacularly underestimated Ukraine’s will to resist. For over a year now, Ukrainians have been fighting. Over the past year, families have lost loved ones as well as left everything behind to seek refuge outside of their home country.
Here in Memphis, local organizations like World Relief Memphis; 901 Stands with Ukraine and Grace Even have been doing what they can in order to provide aid to Ukrainians.
World Relief Memphis — in partnership with 901 Stands with Ukraine — have recently helped from 40 to 50 Ukrainian refugees in Memphis with the goal of finding work as well as housing for these families.

The climate has once again captured our attention amid a record-breaking heatwave this summer and a landmark economic package in Congress that includes sweeping climate measures. Our environment is a precious gift, created by God and intended for all to share in its bounty. Yet, our global neighbors living in poverty and other vulnerable conditions are facing the most devastating effects of climate change. Addressing the impacts of climate change demands not just a public response, but a uniquely Christian one as well.
